You, my Dad

You stick by me, Dad. Walking with me through life's trials, and helping me up along the way. Even though we're hundreds of miles apart, I know I can count on your words and your prayers for encouragement and for growth.

You show me endless love everyday. Through notes, phone calls, texts, emails, and long distance hugs.

You hold me up when I need you. Comforting me during times of hurt, and sharing in my sadness, even though you've already experienced plenty of your own.

You always bring me joy, and I LOVE spending time with you. Going out to breakfast, working out, taking trips, riding bikes, playing board games, or going shopping... it doesn't matter as long as we're together.

I wish I could give you a great big hug today, but until I can, I'll send you pictures of us together (there are lots!) and wait for two weeks until you come to visit!

You are the BEST dad I could ever dream up!
I'm so glad you're mine, and I thank God everyday for putting us in each others lives!

Happiest Birthday to you, Daddy! You deserve nothing but the best, and I wish I were there to celebrate with you and Mom and Joe!

I love you SO much.

Love, Jessie

I totally got distracted by the sweetness of this post because your wedding dress? and shoes? TO DIE FOR. I might faint.

Happy birthday to your dad!

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Happy Birthday Dad!

And BWP is right... you look AMAZING (pronounced A-MAH-ZING a la Rachel Zoe) in your wedding dress.

What a beautiful bride. And such a sweet tribute to Dad. You are a good daughter. And now I'm going to call my Dad and tell him how much I appreciate him (or at the very least listen to his long winded opinions about Dancing with the Stars).

Oh my gosh you girls have completely made my day!

I was feeling kind of crummy until I saw your comments. :)

BWP - Don't faint. Just remember that you got to pet a zebra this weekend, and that makes you way cooler than everybody else.

Jozette - I could practically HEAR you quoting Rachel Zoe (even thought I have never heard your voice) and I love the reference! Thanks, sweety.

Kate - Thanks for stopping by! You're a doll... I just checked out your blog and added you to my google reader! Good for your for calling your Dad, and I LOVE that he watches Dancing with the Stars. So cute!

Happy Birthday to your dad, too! You look gorgeous in your photos.

ps- the style of my Frye's are Fiona Moc Tall. It looks like they only have the suede version on their site, but you might like those even better!

Amanda - Thanks! I totally miss my blonde hair, and will probably go back as soon as I get sick of the brown. I usually change it quite a bit!

Maegan - I am definitely lucky to have great parents. I try not to take it for granted and let them know how much I love them whenever I can!

Asian Cajuns - Thanks for dropping by! I have found the Fiona Tall Mocs on a few different sites, and I think I might make a birthday request for them! Thanks for the info!!!! You girls are great.

Karey - Oh, you are so sweet, my dear. Your words make me feel lovely, and I really appreciate you!
