My sweet grandma was not doing well last week and so I came home to Scottsdale to spend time with her and the rest of my family. She passed away on Sunday, and is now finally reunited with my Bompa up in heaven! I probably won't get back to KC or to blogging until the end of this week, and I just wanted to let you know.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend, and in enjoying the start of summer!

I'm so sorry... No matter how old a loved one is, it's always a bit of shock to realize that they're gone. And then there's the missing them part. Not easy - but I'm sure being with your family helps.
so sorry to hear it... my grandpa just passed away on the 15th of this month too :[ now I've got 2 grammas left and I hope they hold on for pretty much forever.

Oh sweetie, I'm so so sorry. Knowing my grandma was reunited with my grandpa when she passed away was a big comfort for me, too. I'm sending you lots of love and prayers. Be good to yourself.
