Just got back from New Jersey/York and had to catch up on your blog...
First, i love the Eames Chair. Secondly, here i am at work, in the office, crying my eyes out while reading your post about Remy. :-( Who knows, maybe he actually WAS running along with you. Someday you'll meet another puppy too love.
James - I want to hear all about your trip!!! Thanks for the sweet words about Remy. He loved you, and I know that our next pup will, too! We'll have to have a puppy play-date with adorable Rugby someday!
Z - Not much luck with the chair, yet. But my friends have said that the more it is in a smoke-free environment, the less noticeable the smell is (makes sense). My nose is just too sensitive, I guess! Thanks for asking!
Lopi - You're awesome, and when my husband saw this project, he immediately started planning a place to clear in the closet! He wants to build one to share and make it go all the way to the ceiling... cra-zay!
Life is filled with Lucky Stones... You'll see them if you look through life with a hopeful eye, and always consider that the mystery of beauty is often lying just beneath the surface.

She's a genius. And love all the shoes.
Any luck with the smoky chair?
Jessie, thanks so much for the support! Next time I do a fashion-related DIY you'll be the first to know!
