Those eyes, that hair.

Over here.

How do I make myself look like this? (Minus the middle-part. Middle-parts in my hair are the worst possible thing that I could ever do to myself aesthetically. Trust.)

Seriously, any tips on how to try that eyeliner? I think I might bring this pic with me to lighten up the hair for Spring!

Too much eyeliner or lipstick tends to make me look like I've been in "mommy's makeup".

I too eschew the middle part. It draws attention to the fact that my nose is crooked. I really need to get that fixed... I still wouldn't do the middle part though because it would then just draw attention to the fact that my nose is also kind of long.

By the way - I got my beautiful stripey bag and I LOVE it! I'm thinking I'll keep one of my big stone necklaces in it. I can't imagine ruining it with makeup stains.

even though i have to agree with you on the middle part, i'm loving the length on it. her make-up, obviously, is to die for! i can never get that perfect smokey eye. i look like i got punched in the eyeballs. if you find the secret, let me know. p.s. thanks for the comment on being red! AND definitely loving your blog as well. xo

Buy mac's gel eye liner.
Goes on way better than any eye liner (liquid or pencil) I've ever tried and seriously stays put with no smudges all day.

there are a few different eye liners that I recommend and I am a little bit of a makeup junkie...

1. Bobbi brown gel eyeliner pots- these need to be applied with a slanted brush and a very light hand and can really only be done on the upper lid bec a thick dark line on the lower lid is only a good look for amy winehouse.

2. Tarte ultra skinny eye liners are incredible...I have a black one, a brown one and a purple one and wear them depending on what colors are on the lid. These are fool proof and sooo easy to use with the teeniest tiniest points to make great lines that last.

3. Makeup forever- I have hazel eyes and use their olive green liner almost daily because it's very easy and stays put.

4. Benefit- they have the perfect black eyeliner pencil in kohl which when smudged on top gives a very sexy smoky eye with very minimal effort. The liner comes with a smudger on it- very versatile- you can get a very nice black line- make sure you have a very sharp tip for accuracy- and them if you want a sultry night look(i do it during the day too) you just smudge! Wonderful effects!

Lots of luck!
