Before I scrolled down to Kermit's picture I had his froggy voice in my head! Thanks for making me smile. :o)
This song always makes me so unbearably happy but there's such a strong current of bittersweetness. Kermie says so himself - "Someday i'll find it, the rainbow connection." Someday kermie, someday.
I love this song. I took Micah to Baby Power (baby music/gym class thing) and they ended the class by playing the song and turning on the bubble machine. Yes, bubble machine. The kiddos were enchanted. I (not sure why) got really choked up and had to get outta there before all the other mommies saw me crying!
Glad we all agree. :) I'll have to post about my all-time favorite rainbow, sometime soon.
