Oof.

Today was my first full day at the new job...

EXHAUSTION.

I forgot what it was like to put in a full day starting at 7 am, and we didn't get home from the airport last night until 1-ish.

I love having a winter wonderland right down the street!

On the bright side, there is snow on the ground, the house is decorated, and the Plaza lights have been lit for the season.

I've got a big smile on my face because it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and it's only December 1st.

I love holiday lights. Even the crazy displays in the old school blue collar neighborhood where my son goes to daycare. Nothing says Christmas time like prefab decorated with Frosty, Santa and Shrek in holiday attire, all waving through the glare of twinkle lights.

Oh, I hear you on starting a new job. Never mind one with a new schedule to adjust to. Good luck!! You will shine, I am sure :)

Kate - I can totally picture the wooden Christmas characters painted and draped with lights. I bet there's an Eeyore one and probably a Snoopy, too!

Jennifer - You betcha! *WINK* You should have come down to see him. He asked about you (oh wait, I wasn't even here... well I'm sure he was looking).

Mary - Thanks! So far, so good! I'm loving it so far!!!

Sarah - THANKS!!!
